Modelled in Lightwave 3d and rendered into Vue landscapes
Vue is a 3D scenery generator software package. It is used for the creation, animation, and rendering of natural 3D environments.
To create feature illustrations the LightWave meshes were resurfaced with texture maps which were prepared in Adobe Photshop using layers to build up the distressed nature of the finish and reflect historicaly accurate insignia.
Vue was chosen to create the environments because it excels at outdoor landscapes and is used by many top special effects studios for this purpose.
